Overview
Opotiki is a small coastal town in the eastern Bay of Plenty on New Zealand's North Island. It serves as the starting point for State Highway 35, which follows much of the coastline of the East Cape and terminates in Gisborne.

Bushaven offers camping from $15 and various accommodation up to $350, located 20 minutes from town in native bush reserve.
Food
Opotiki has Chinese takeaway shops and fish and chip stores. The only large supermarket is Opotiki New World at 19 Bridge St.
Transport
All car parking in Opotiki is free. State Highway 35 (East Cape route) and State Highway 2 (to Whakatane) are the main roads through town.
