Overview
Onjuku is a small fishing town on the Pacific coast of the Bōsō peninsula in Chiba prefecture, famous for its beach and surfing scene. Unlike the crowds of closer beach destinations near Tokyo, Onjuku maintains a quieter, local atmosphere while still attracting young surfers from the capital year-round.
