Overview
Numazu is a port city in Shizuoka Prefecture where the views of Mount Fuji are exceptionally clear from Senbon Beach and the View-O observation deck. The city gained fame as the setting for the anime Love Live.

Food
Seafood-kakiage, himono (dried fish), and Noppo bread are local specialties. Numazu Port area has numerous restaurants and food stalls.
Money
Japan uses yen (¥). Credit cards accepted at larger restaurants and hotels, but many small shops and markets are cash-only.
Transport
Numazu Station is on the JR Tokaido Main Line; no Shinkansen service. Local buses connect to beaches and port area.
Weather
Summer is hot and humid with festivals. Winter offers clearest Mount Fuji views. Mikan season runs September-December.
