Overview
Nea Moudania is a modest coastal town in the Kassandra region of Chalkidiki, serving primarily as the commercial center for the regional unit. The town was established in 1922 by Greek refugees from Mudanya (now Turkey), whose settlement name carried over with the Greek prefix "nea" meaning "new".
