Overview
Mole National Park is Ghana's largest and most frequently visited national park, offering the country's widest range of wildlife including elephants, antelope, bushbucks, monkeys, warthogs, and baboons. The park is reasonably well set up for tourists with accommodation ranging from budget hostel-style rooms to luxury chalets, plus a swimming pool and viewing platform overlooking a watering hole.

Only motel restaurant and staff canteen available inside park. Canteen food is cheaper but requires advance ordering. No outside food options.
Safety
Armed ranger required for off-tarmac walking/driving. Warthogs and baboons raid campsites—secure food and trash.
Transport
Buses from Tamale take ~6 hours; tro-tros and shared taxis serve the Larabanga route. Roads from Tamale are now paved and sedans can make the trip in 2.5-3 hours.
