Overview
Linares is one of Mexico's designated Pueblos Mágicos, a program recognizing towns with cultural or historical significance. The town of about 70,000 inhabitants offers a slower pace than nearby Monterrey, with colonial architecture, local craft beer at Cerveza Linarense, and the famous Glorias caramel candies made locally since 1941.
