Overview
Kroměříž is a UNESCO World Heritage town in South Moravia famous for its Baroque Archbishop's Palace, used as a filming location for the film Amadeus. The town features the Italian-style Flower Garden covering 10 hectares, built by Italian architects Filiberto Lucchese and Giovanni Pietro Tencalla.

Czech Koruna (CZK) is used. ATMs available in town centre. Cards accepted at some hotels and restaurants but cash is advisable for small purchases.
Orientation
All main sites are within walking distance of the Main Square and train station. The town is small enough to navigate without transport.
Transport
Local buses serve the town; trains connect to Olomouc (1hr) and Brno (1hr 15m-2h 30m) with changes. Direct buses to Brno take 1hr 15m.
Visiting attractions
Kroměříž Castle tours are guided only; book ahead for non-Czech language tours. The Flower Garden is open-air and free to walk around.
