Food
Each resort has a restaurant serving seafood at higher prices than the mainland. Bulone Minimart stocks basics. No other food options exist on the island.
Money
No ATM on Ko Bulon Leh as of 2024. Bring all necessary cash from the mainland. Bulone Resort offers Visa cash advances for a 7% fee when they have sufficient cash on hand.
Packing
Bring mosquito repellent, sturdy walking shoes, long sleeves, sufficient cash, and any medications you might need. Limited shopping on the island.
Safety
Very safe island with minimal crime. Main risks are mosquitoes (bring repellent) and jungle snakes (wear sturdy shoes, do not approach).
Transport
Access is exclusively by speedboat from Pak Bara (400 baht) or Ko Lipe (600 baht). A 50 baht longtail transfer to the beach is required. No vehicles exist on the island.
