Overview
Kihnu is the largest island in the Gulf of Riga and one of Estonia's smallest municipalities. In 2003, UNESCO proclaimed Kihnu's cultural space and traditions as a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.

Bicycles can be rented from most accommodations. Ferries connect Kihnu to Pärnu and Munda on the mainland.

Island climate is gentler and warmer than mainland Estonia due to the surrounding sea.
