Ķemeri National Park protects Latvia's most impressive raised bog ecosystem and historic mineral springs that fueled 19th-century spa town development. The park offers rare boardwalk hikes through pristine mires, therapeutic sulfur baths, and birdwatching at Lake Kaņieris Ramsar site.

The Park visitors' centre (Forest House, 2 km from Ķemeri) is wheelchair accessible and offers English-language information.
Safety
Roads can be slippery after rain; speed limits change rapidly from 70 km/h to 30 km/h. Don't walk the swamp trails alone.
Transport
Tukums-bound trains stop at Ķemeri village station in the park's center; the park is 11 km west of Jūrmala on the A10 road.
Weather
Typical Latvian temperate climate—unpredictable and often cool. Bring a jacket even in summer. Best visited May-September when the visitors' centre is open.
