Overview
Karon Beach is Phuket's second-largest tourist beach at 3 km, offering a quieter alternative to the louder Patong scene 8 km north. The sand is strikingly white and squeaks audibly underfoot, with a wide pedestrian and bicycle path running its length on the beach side of the road.
