Overview
Huzhou is a prefecture-level city in Zhejiang province, located on the southwest side of Lake Tai, a bit north of Hangzhou. It is the central city of the Yangtze River Delta and the birthplace of silk culture, tea culture, and Hong Kong culture.

Huzhou is the birthplace of silk culture, tea culture, and Hong Kong culture. Anji White Tea is a famous traditional Chinese green tea.
Health
There are more mosquitoes in summer due to the moist and warm climate. Repellents are available in convenience stores. Tap water is not drinkable but safe for washing.
Language
Huzhou dialect is a representative dialect of Wu dialect, similar to Suzhou, Shanghai, Hangzhou and other northern Wu dialects.
Transport
Huzhou has four high-speed train stations (Huzhou, Deqing, Changxing, Anji) and two stations for slower trains (Changxing South, Deqing West).
Weather
Huzhou has a north subtropical monsoon climate with annual average temperature from 12.2℃ to 17.3℃. January is the coldest month and July is the hottest.
