Overview
Golem is a low-elevation coastal town in western Albania, about 75 km from Tirana and 20 km south of Durrës. It is known for mass beach tourism along its southern coastal stretch, featuring a lengthy walking promenade that has seen recent improvements despite past uncontrolled urban development.

Activities
Beach activities, waterparks, and evening bars are the main attractions. The promenade spans several kilometers along the coast.

Golem is accessed by road from Tirana, Durrës, and Kavaja. The best way to explore the town is on foot along the promenade.
