Overview
Gjilan is a small southeastern Kosovo town with Ottoman-era roots, notable for its city icons who died fighting for freedom: Idriz Seferi (927), Agim Ramadani (1999), Rexhep Mala (1984), and Nuhi Berisha (1984). The town features a clocktower, a statue of poet-KLA commander Agim Ramadani, and access to the Anadrini recreation area.
