Overview
General Cepeda is a diminutive Pueblo Magico of roughly 4,400 residents in the Sierra de Los Patos mountains of Coahuila. Travelers with an interest in paleontology and archaeology make the journey for two standout attractions: the Parque Paleontologica Las Canteras with its dinosaur bones and fossilized footprints, and the Narigua archaeological zone with over 8,000 petroglyphs carved into rock some 10,000 years ago.
