Overview
Eruwa is a small Yoruba market town and the administrative headquarters of Ibarapa East Local Government Area in Oyo State, Nigeria. Its name derives from the historic trade of roasted yams ('eruwa' means 'pieces of yam are available here') with northern caravans.
