Overview
Cantona is a large, well-restored archaeological site spanning 12 square kilometers with only 1% excavated, making it a genuine undiscovered gem. The 2,000-year-old ancient Olmec city once housed up to 80,000 people and features 27 ball courts—yet it remains seldom visited and is often unknown even among locals.
