Overview
Asientos (also called Real de Asientos) is a colonial mining town designated as one of Mexico's Pueblos Magicos, making it an official magical town worth visiting for its well-preserved 16th-century architecture. The town sits along the Camino Real de Tierra Adentro, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is notable for its historic aqueduct and silver mining heritage that prosperity from the late 16th through the 19th century.
