Beach Park water park at Porto das Dunas is the major attraction. Smaller beaches at Iguape and Prainha offer quieter alternatives with local character.
Culture
The Museu da Cachaça Colonial showcases traditional cachaça production, a cornerstone of Brazilian drinking culture. The 18th-century Igreja Matriz de São José de Ribamar is the historic centerpiece of the city.
Transport
Aquiraz is most easily accessed from Fortaleza via bus or taxi. Allow 30-60 minutes for the journey depending on traffic and your starting point in Fortaleza.
