Overview
Amphawa is a canal-side district in Samut Songkhram province where Bangkokians flock every weekend for the famous Amphawa Floating Market. Unlike tourist-heavy Damnoen Saduak, this afternoon market (starting around noon, best around 15:00) offers a more authentic experience with farmers in traditional clothing selling produce from boats.
