  • Petit Martinique

Petite Martinique is a tiny Caribbean outpost with just 900 residents and no air access, preserving a slow-paced island life off the tourist trail. The island rewards visitors with rugged walking trails to its 230-meter peak, sea caves at Darant Bay accessible at low tide, and the chance to witness traditional boat-building.

  • Sauteurs

Sauteurs is a small fishing village of about 1300 residents in Grenada's northern St Patrick parish, named for the dramatic cliff where in 1651 the last three dozen Carib indigenous people leapt to their deaths rather than submit to French capture. The village serves as the main settlement and transport hub for the parish, offering access to secluded beaches, crater lakes, offshore islands, and working chocolate and rum estates without the crowds of St George's.

  • St. George's

St George's is the volcanic-crater capital of Grenada, built around a natural harbor (the Carenage) that shelters ships from Atlantic hurricanes. French colonists called it Fort Royal; the British renamed it after capturing the island in 1762.
