Connectivity
No mobile signal or WiFi inside the reserve. Download offline maps and inform someone of your plans before entering.
Food
No food, water, or vendors inside the reserve. Bring everything from Scopello or San Vito lo Capo. Carry out all rubbish—leave no trace.
Safety
No mobile signal in most of the reserve; carry sufficient water (2L per person minimum), wear sun protection, and use sturdy footwear on rocky uneven trails. Beaches are unmonitored.
Transport
Car recommended for flexibility; parking at both entrances costs approximately €5-8/day. Buses run seasonally from nearby towns but don't enter the reserve itself.
