Overview
The Salt Pans of Trapani and Paceco offer a rare combination of living industrial heritage and thriving wetland ecology. Unlike polished museum pieces, this 987-hectare reserve remains an active salt-working landscape where traditional methods persist alongside one of Sicily's most important bird habitats.
