Overview
Yanji is a mid-sized Chinese city with a difference: it sits at the heart of the Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, home to China's largest ethnic Korean population. Unlike typical Chinese cities, it feels relatively clean and peaceful, with a surprising density of cafes serving decent coffee alongside traditional tea houses.
