Overview
Yalova is a ferry port on the south coast of the Sea of Marmara, at the narrowest point where it narrows into the Gulf of Izmit. Most visitors pass through en route between Istanbul and Izmir, but the city rewards those who linger with geothermal hot springs at Termal, nearby beach resorts at Çınarcık, and access to the scenic Green-Blue Road along the peninsula.
