Overview
Xiyu Township (Xiyu Xiang) is a rural, less-developed part of Penghu County that rewards visitors with 19th-century forts, dozens of Wang-Yeh temples, and spectacular columnar basalt formations. The island's western position offers good sunset views, and the area feels authentically local compared to Magong.
