Overview
Xinxiang (新乡; Xīnxiāng) is a historic city dating from the Sui Dynasty around 600 CE, located in northern Henan Province south of the Yellow River. It serves as an important transport hub in the Zhengzhou Metropolitan Area with high-speed rail connections.

Local specialties include Shi Kui beef, YuanYang lamb Huimian noodles, and unique Xinxiang-style malatang with sweet and sour flavors. Night markets on Xidajie peak around midnight.
Money
Xinxiang uses RMB (Chinese Yuan). Day taxis start at ¥6 for 2 km, then ¥1.60 per km. Most places accept mobile payment.

Transport
