Overview
Xiluo (西螺鎮) is a township in Yunlin County that offers a glimpse into traditional Taiwanese rural life. The town was originally called Sailei by the native Babuza people before being translated from Hokkien to Mandarin as Xiluo.

Xiluo is accessible via local train or bus connections from Taichung or Chiayi. The township is compact and walkable.
