Overview
Wuzhou is a historic prefecture-level city in eastern Guangxi with over 2,000 years of history, positioned along the Xijiang Golden Waterway as the gateway to eastern Guangxi. The city offers a unique blend of Cantonese, Hakka, and Zhuang cultures, with well-preserved arcade-style architecture in the historic Qilou Town district dating from the 1920s-1930s.

Local specialties include Wuzhou rice noodles (梧州米粉), beer duck (啤酒鸭), and pickled bamboo shoots with fish (酸笋鱼). Night markets offer malatang and other street food.

Wuzhou South Station serves high-speed trains; Wuzhou Station handles K and T series trains. Local buses routes 2, 7, 13, 16, 28, 46, 48, and 520 serve the historic arcade town area.

Subtropical climate with mild winters (January avg 17°C) and hot summers (July avg 33.5°C). May-August is the rainy season with June receiving 263mm of rainfall.
