Overview
Wambierzyce is a historic pilgrimage site in Lower Silesia, drawing visitors to its baroque Basilica of the Visitation and the beloved icon of Our Lady of Wambierzyce. The town is famous for the Szopka—a collection of centuries-old mechanized Nativity scenes hand-built and painted entirely by hand, still in working order.
