Overview
The Tremiti Islands are the only Italian archipelago in the Adriatic Sea, 22 km off the Gargano Peninsula. With crystal-clear waters, colorful seabeds, and unspoiled Mediterranean nature, the islands have been a marine reserve of Gargano National Park since 1989.

Diving at Punta Secca and Cala dei Turchi around Capraia Island. Boat tours to sea caves. Historical visits to San Nicola's 9th-century Abbey of Santa Maria a Mare.

Transport
Ferry services connect the Tremiti Islands to Gargano Peninsula ports from May to October. Inter-island boat services connect San Domino with San Nicola and other islands.
Weather
Oceanic Mediterranean climate. Best visited September-October for fewer crowds and lower prices. Tourist season runs May to October.
