Overview

Tory Island is a remote Irish-speaking community of just 119 residents, 11 km off the northwest coast of County Donegal. The island offers rugged sea-cliff scenery swarming with birds, scrappy 6th-to-12th century monastery ruins, and a T-shaped Tau Cross carved from mica slate.
