Overview
Dungloe is the largest village in The Rosses, a remote coastal region of grassy peninsulas and scattered islands facing the Atlantic. It's best known for the sentimental 1936 song 'Mary from Dungloe', commemorated in an annual beauty contest and festival held at the end of July.
