Overview
Tlalpujahua is a small town of about 3,600 residents that rose from being a virtual ghost town in the 1960s to become Mexico's Christmas ornament capital. The town is famous for hand-blown glass Christmas tree ornaments produced by over 200 small workshops, employing more than 1,000 workers.
