Overview
Tinigua National Natural Park covers approximately 202,000 hectares where the Andes mountains meet the riparian ecosystems of the Orinoco and Amazon basins. About 85% of the park is rainforest, with the remaining area consisting of flooded forest along the Perdido, Duda, Guayabero, and La Reserva rivers.

Transport
Fly Satena from Bogotá to La Macarena (1 hour), then 7-hour drive to Delicias. Local guides can arrange transport.

Warm and humid year-round (25°C average). Best visited during dry seasons: December–March or August–September.
