Overview
Thoothukudi (formerly Tuticorin) is a port city on the Coromandel Coast in southeastern Tamil Nadu. It serves as the headquarters of Thoothukudi District and is known for its historic churches built during the Dutch colonial period, famous macaroon bakeries, and a major annual festival at the Our Lady of Snows Basilica.
