Overview
Telč is one of the Czech Republic's best-preserved Renaissance towns, its perfect arcaded square frozen in the 16th century by surrounding fish-ponds that prevented urban sprawl. The UNESCO-listed old town is astonishingly photogenic, with orange rooftops, painted facades, and a chateau that rivals Czech grander destinations without the crowds.
