Most wineries, restaurants, and attractions on the mountain are cashless and accept cards. Carry some AUD cash for smaller purchases at craft shops and markets.
Packing
Pack walking shoes, rain jacket, and layers regardless of season. The rainforest trails can be muddy after rain, and temperatures drop noticeably after sunset.

Weather
Temperatures on the mountain run 5–10°C cooler than the Gold Coast coast below. Bring layers even in summer, and expect afternoon rain in the wet season (Dec–Mar).
