Overview
Skyros is a quiet Greek island in the Sporades archipelago where summer population swells from 3,000 to 8,000 but the island never feels exploited or overcrowded. Unlike party islands, Skyros offers traditional architecture in the Chora (main town), numerous secluded beaches, and literary history at the grave of war poet Rupert Brooke.
