Overview
Skopelos is the largest of the Northern Sporades Islands and one of the greenest islands in the Aegean Sea, with extensive Aleppo Pine forests, Holm Oak groves, and olive terraces covering its mountainous interior. The island gained international fame as a filming location for Mamma Mia yet retains a quieter, more authentic Greek island atmosphere than better-known destinations like Mykonos or Santorini.
