Overview
Sisal is a minuscule fishing village of about 1,800 residents that punches far above its weight as one of Mexico's designated Pueblos Mágicos. Most visitors come from Mérida for the eco-tourism—coastal wetlands teeming with migratory birds, particularly flamingos in winter months, and dense jungle trails.
