The Seychelles Rupee (SCR) is the local currency, though US dollars are widely accepted at resorts. ATMs are not available on the island.

Essential items like clothing and swimming gear are extravagantly expensive on Silhouette. Purchase all supplies on Mahe before visiting.
Transport
Boat crossings between Mahe and Silhouette depart at 9:00 AM, 2:30 PM, and 5:00 PM from Mahe, with return trips at 5:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 4:00 PM.
