Overview

Mahé is the largest and most populous island in the Seychelles, home to 90% of the country's population and its largest airport. The island is dominated by the granite peaks of Morne Seychellois National Park, which covers 20% of Mahé's land area.

Transport

Seychelles International Airport (SEZ) is the main gateway near Victoria. Cat Cocos ferries connect Mahé with La Digue (1h30) and Praslin (1h) from Victoria Pier. Buses and taxis available for getting around the island.

Water temperature is warm year-round, making Mahé suitable for beach activities, diving and surfing in any season.
