Overview
Shei-pa National Park (雪霸國家公園) is Taiwan's fifth national park, established in 1992 at the border of Hsinchu, Miaoli, and Taichung Counties. The park encompasses magnificent mountain ranges, creek valleys, and rare animals and plants, making it ideal for nature lovers and serious trekkers seeking to climb Taiwan's Top 100 Mountains.

Wuling Farm entrance fees: Adults NT$130-160 depending on season. Vehicle fees NT$10-80. No ATMs in the park area.
Safety
Rockfalls, collapses, and cliff falls are real dangers. Climb in groups with trained guides. First aid available at visitor centers.
Transport
Wenshui Visitor Center is the main hub near Taian Township. Guanwu Recreation Area is the access point for Dabajian Mountain climbs.

Rainy season April-August with 3,152mm annual rainfall. January avg 6.6°C, July avg 14.9°C. Mountain fog common.
