Serifos is a small Cycladic island (65 km², pop. ~1,200) where tourism is still developing, offering excellent beaches and an unspoiled whitewashed traditional Cycladic Chora.

Language
Greek is the national language. English is less common than in major tourist destinations but most tourist establishments have English-speaking staff and menus.
Money
Greece uses EUR. ATMs and at least one bank available in Livadi. Credit cards accepted at most hotels and restaurants.
Safety
Serifos is generally safe. The main concern is summer heat—bring water, wear sun protection, and avoid hiking during the hottest hours.
Transport
Frequent buses connect Livadi and Chora. No regular beach boat (kaiki) services in summer. Ferries from Piraeus and to Western Cyclades islands.
