Overview
Saunders Island is one of the premier wildlife destinations in the Falkland Islands, offering exceptional encounters with black-browed albatrosses, rockhopper and gentoo penguins, occasional king penguins, elephant seals, and imperial cormorants. The island is a working sheep farm with a population of just 4-5 residents, creating an intimate, off-the-beaten-path experience far from mass tourism.
