Overview
San Vicente del Caguán is not a tourist destination but serves as a practical stopover when traveling between Florencia and La Macarena in Colombia's Amazon region. The town has historical significance as the former center of the demilitarized zone during peace negotiations with FARC between 1998 and 2002.
