Overview
Saint-Ours is a small riverside municipality on the Richelieu River plain in Montérégie, Quebec. The town draws tens of thousands of visitors annually to its historic canal and lock, which serves as the 10th lock of the Richelieu River waterway.

Activities
The Saint-Ours Canal lock is the main attraction, drawing boaters and families watching pleasure craft pass through. Cycling along Route 133 (Chemin des Patriotes) is popular.
Transport
The ferry between Saint-Ours and Saint-Roch-de-Richelieu runs April to December; an ice bridge handles winter crossings. The route avoids a long detour to Sorel-Tracy bridges.
