Overview
Saint-Antoine-sur-Richelieu is a small riverside municipality in Montérégie, Quebec, facing Saint-Denis-sur-Richelieu across the Richelieu River. Activities
The 42-site heritage circuit can be explored on foot or by bicycle starting from Maison Eulalie-Durocher. Two cycling routes are suggested: a regular circuit and a 45 km extended route requiring ferry crossings. 4 Season Sails offers paragliding and paramotor instruction.
Food
Local farms offer seasonal produce including haskaps, strawberries, and organic vegetables. Restaurant St-Antoine and L'Antoinette Creamery are the main dining options in the village. Weekly Agrifood Market La Récolte visits nearby municipalities in summer.
Transport
The Handfield Ferry crosses the Richelieu River between Saint-Denis-sur-Richelieu and Saint-Antoine-sur-Richelieu from April to December, 07:00-00:00. Winter brings an ice bridge for automobile traffic. Route 223 runs through the village along the river bank.
