Bangladeshi Taka (Tk) is the local currency. The Samrat Hotel offers rooms from Tk 60-300. Meals at street restaurants and stalls cost roughly 20-50 Tk.

Transport

Saidpur's railway station offers connections to Dhaka, Khulna, and Rajshahi. The small airport sees irregular service. Within town, rickshaws and CNG auto-rickshaws are the standard transport.
